The importance of a good jacket on a construction site
31 March 2011 by

The safety of employees on a construction site is the primary concern of every construction company. Not only is safety a necessity, but it has also been made mandatory in many countries. The United Kingdom too, has various guidelines to be followed by workers, working at a construction site. To suit the bespoke needs of such jobs, safety clothing and footwear have been developed to keep workers safe at all times and to offer them comfort and protection for the external climatic conditions.
One of the most important kinds of safety clothing for a construction worker has to be a jacket. However, just any jacket will not suffice the bespoke needs of a construction worker. An ideal jacket for a construction worker should be windproof to protect him from the harshness of the cold winter winds and be highly visible so he can be clearly seen.
Another great addition to this jacket would be a micro fleece lining. This would enable the wearer to keep himself warm at all times. Having deep pockets on the outside of the jacket will enable the worker to keep his most important documents and tools close at hand. The jacket should also be water resistant to prevent the wearer from getting wet and should be comfortable so he can move around freely.
