Work safety gear - beneficial for both workers and construction companies >>
Correct footwear is a must for construction sites

At work places, the feet experience most pressure. This is because our entire body weight rests on the lower limbs. Every day the feet are subjected to walking, running, climbing and many more activities that leave them tired. Moreover, if the footwear is incorrect or too tight, it leads to severe problems.
Many companies put great emphasis on clothing. However, very little attention is paid to having the right footwear. In construction companies, the workers have to walk on gravel, dust and rubble, so correct footwear is very important.
Bad footwear can lead to accidents like fractures or sprains. While climbing up and down, the worker needs to have a firm grip and hold. If the footwear has no grip then the worker is bound to slip and fall down. Boots with strong grip are ideal for workers.
Footwear should complement the work area. One cannot wear slippers or open shoes at work areas like construction sites. Even the size of the footwear makes a lot of difference. If the footwear is too loose then materials can enter and hurt the soles of the feet. Similarly, if the footwear is too tight then the feet get cramped up.
