Every year, many workers suffer from accidents. Many accidents just cause injuries while some could even be fatal. A worker who is newly appointed at a construction site, for example, may not be aware of the dangers. Safety is one of the major concerns.

It is very important to have proper safety measures in the workplace. A construction site is open to many potentially dangerous items, such as nails left lying around.  Safety should be one of the utmost priorities in the construction area.

Construction workers are skilled labours who are trained with some specific safety measures. Some of the reasons why these accidents occur are due of the use of faulty material, inferior tools and unprotected safety. Safety shoes have a hard sole. The tough sole of safety footwear does not allow sharp objects to penetrate them. Another benefit of having a tough sole is that it ensures a proper grip and avoids slipping. Safety footwear is very comfortable and at the same is heat resistant to some extent. It is also a duty of the employer to check whether the workers have come dressed up with proper safety clothing or not.
