Key to choosing right Safety Glasses and Goggles

The worst that can happen to a worker other than losing a body part in an accident is going blind after an eye injury in a workplace accident. Simple precautions could well have prevented it. But by the time we realise this, it is too late!
Losing eyesight is as good as losing mobility. The importance of wearing proper eyewear during work cannot be understated. In earlier times the protective eye guards were heavy and unattractive to wear. But nowadays the protective eye equipment range is stylish. It is made to international standards besides being comfortable and trendy.
There are certain aspects, which one must look into while buying eyewear. The lens should be made of polycarbonate, which is impact resistant. They do not shatter even if the lens is hit by a fast, flying object. These eye guards can be worn on top of the regular eyewear also. It would be better if the lens is properly certified by an eye surgeon.
While choosing eyewear some basic steps should be followed, such as having a good snug fit, temples fitting comfortably over the ears, and frames being close to the face with a good support by the bridge on the nose.
