Demand for Safety footwear and Workwear on a surge

Safety workwear and footwear are now commonly used at shop floors and building sites. Thanks to the construction boom, demand for safety gear has gone up. This was not the case until a few years ago. However, with the Government regulations for the health and safety of the workers becoming stricter, the attention paid to safety of workers has increased.

The awareness regarding safety at the workplace has naturally led to increased demand for footwear and workwear. Do we really need these safety items in the industries? Well, the answer is a resounding YES! The safety equipment has become essential since tradesmen in today’s times perform many hazardous tasks. Some kind of accidents and injuries are unavoidable, but their impact can certainly be minimised with proper usage of safety gear.

Workers irrespective of their status and skills – right from ordinary shop floor workers to high-level managerial and supervisory staff – now want to go for the proper safety wear. The change in their mindset is indeed positive. Even the managements are responding in a favourable manner, keeping in mind the welfare of their employees.
